Sátão (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈsatɐ̃w]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 201.9 km² and a total population of 13,419 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 12 parishes and is located in the district Viseu.

The present mayor is Alexandre Manuel Mendonça Vaz, elected by the Social Democratic Party.

The municipal holiday is August 20.
