Template:Spanish name Sergio Postigo Redondo (born 4 November 1988) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Levante UD as a central defender.
Football career
Born in Madrid, Postigo finished his formation at CD Leganés, and made his senior debuts with the reserves in the regional championships. Also in the 2007–08 season, he began appearing with the main squad in Segunda División B.
In July 2010, Postigo signed with CA Osasuna, being initially assigned to the B-side also in the third level.[1] On 13 January 2012 he appeared in his first game as a professional, playing the last 11 minutes of a 1–2 home loss against FC Barcelona for the campaign's Copa del Rey.[2]
Postigo was released by the Navarrese in May 2012,[3] and shortly after moved to another reserve team, Getafe CF B. In July of the following year, however, he was released again,[4] returning to former club Leganés shortly after.[5]
On 20 July 2015, Postigo moved abroad for the first time in his career, joining Spezia Calcio from the Italian Serie B.[6] On 16 July of the following year he returned to Spain, signing a two-year contract with Levante UD also in the second level.[7]
