Major General Shun Iwasa (岩佐俊, Iwasa Shun) was a senior officer in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.[1]

Born in 1888, he was the Commanding Officer of the 61st Infantry Regiment between 1938 and 1940, before being attached to the 9th Division. Shortly afterwards, he was posted as the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Independent Garrison Unit and served until 1942, becoming attached to the 8th Area Army Headquarters between 1942 to 1943. He was shortly appointed as the Commanding Officer of the 65th Brigade in 1943. Iwasa was then placed in command of the infantry of the 6th Division in Bougainville until the end of the war. He died in 1969.
