Recent News[edit]

In early 2006, the hospital clashed with local residents over plans to create a small parking lot adjacent to the hospital. The lot was approved by the planning commission for Henrico County on March 9, 2006. As a condition of approval, Bon Secours committed to a permanent western boundary for the hospital property that constitutes the parking lot location on Maple Avenue. The hospital has gone under renovations and expansions to be able to handle Greater Richmond's growth.
