Joel Spira obituary[edit]

Joel Spira, co-founder of Lutron, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, according to an Associated Press report at Fox News, filed on April 9, 2015 (UTC). He was 88, so that would make his birth date circa 1926. — Quicksilver^{T @} 03:53, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Spira's photo appeared today on the home page of Lutron with the heading "We all miss our dear friend and founder" and caption "Joel Spira (1927-2015) Lutron Chairman and Founder". The display only appears on initial loading of the page for a few seconds and then is replaced by regular content.
