Sorry, I missed the "of the 20th century" in the title. But that is strange, Finland gained independence around same time, and Suuret suomalaiset top 100 includes 14 who died before 1900, including 3 in top 10 and the earliest mentioned Finn from the 1100s. 109.240.231.253 (talk) 07:16, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
