Untitled[edit]

I think the page should stay because this is a book I have seen in libraries all over the country. Deleting it would be a waste of time for me, and the author would be displeased if her own book was discredited by the only online free encylopedia in the world.

This isn't a deletion discussion, it's a discussion of how the article can be kept. It can be kept with the addition of reliable independent sources- articles or reviews about this book in significant sources. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:49, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

it seems like you (FisherQueen) is always trying to delete my posts. Besides, you wouldn't want to delete "Harry Potter" or "Lord of the Rings", would you? The articles on those books include reliable independent sources. If such sources exist regarding these books, then adding them will avoid the deletion of this article. Nothing else, including comparisons to much more well-known books and accusations against me, will avoid the deletion of this article. (FisherQueen), isn't being personal or anything else like that. You give the game away when you talk of "posts". This is not a blog or anything like it. It is an encyclopedia and subject to certain rules and conventions. Editing 101 Ways to Bug Your Teacher[edit]

I went in and cleaned up some grammatical and sentence structure problems with this article. The main problem with the content is that the "Summary" section is very disconnected. See below:

"The story opens with Sneeze, Hiccup, Goldie, Ace, and Peirre working on their Egyptian history projects. Their teacher, Ms. Pierce, has an unusual way of assigning punishments to her students. It's called the death roll. The offending student must roll a die and match its number to the one on the death roll chart. The punishment related to that number is then handed out to the unfortunate student. His parents tell him that he is going to skip the 8th grade and go straight to high school. Sneeze doesn't want to leave his friends so he makes a list of things to do to bug teachers. When Hayley confronts him, he kisses her smack on the lips. Sneeze enters the Inventors Club, and his mom has a baby named Alyssa Marie Wyatt, who inherits his allergies."

The contributor jumps from what the kids are doing in the beginning to an unrelated summary of the teacher's punishment methods to Sneeze discovering he is skipping 8th grade. Then it jumps to a not-previously-introduced character named Hayley who kisses the main character. In the next sentence the main character joins a club and his mother has a baby.
