AP Poll[edit]

I was reading on the AP Poll article, and it said, "One of the earliest such polls was the AP College Football Poll, first run in 1934 (compiled and organized by Charles Woodroof, former SEC Assistant Director of Media Relations) and then continuously from 1936." Does that mean that it was compiled at some point in the 1934 season? If so, I can imagine that it might be hard to find, and the AP Poll Archive only goes back to 1939 anyway. Would it be better for me to remove the AP column from the chart for years prior to 1939? (0r, alternatively, years prior to 1936 if the 1936-1939 ones could be found somewhere) I do like the inventiveness of putting "No AP Poll" vertically, though, haha, so maybe it is best to just leave it like that. After googling, I did find the link to the 1934 poll on the archive. (also there is a link to the 1936 and beyond ones from there) Cardsplayer4life (talk) 06:50, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Does anyone know (better than I) which conference all those teams belong to? I know a few of them, but not many for numbering sake. Cardsplayer4life (talk) 07:13, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the poll numbers for the conferences. It was officially a top 10, so I only included those teams. -Kgwo1972 (talk) 20:25, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
