Mazda-powered Sigma[edit]

The car may have been the first Japanese car to race at Le Mans, but it wasn't the first Wankel-engined car to race at Le Mans.

A Chevron B16 with a 1-liter Mazda Wankel engine qualified 41st for the 1970 event, and took the start only to retire with engine problems. Car #48 in the entry list. 188.24.88.13 (talk) 17:27, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
