Description of Aerosol Science[edit]

Might i suggest a nice definition of what aerosol science actually is before jumping into a complicated equation? Like: Aerosol science is the field of science concerned with the modelling and measurement of aerosol particles.--Ryanmoffet 22:34, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The focus of this entry seems to be the general dynamic equation, or the conservation equation for a spatially homogeneous aerosol. I suggest merging this stub with aerosol since, as Ryanmoffet pointed out, aerosol science is essentially just the study aerosol. Mtat76 16:00, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, I am trying to tidy up the aerosol page to make it more than just about atmospheric aerosols. I need a section in that article which covers the material here, and so I will merge them soon unless someone objects.--NHSavage (talk) 09:20, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It also seems that the form of the aerosol General Dynamics Equation is different than the supposed labeling of the terms, since there is no J, G, or beta in the actual equation. ChemE123 (talk) 20:00, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Propose merge to aerosol[edit]

The topic of aerosol science is not clearly distinguished from aerosol at present and is not much more than a stub. I propose to merge the content from this article to aerosol next Saturday 28th July unless there is any opposition expressed here.--NHSavage (talk) 19:49, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
