Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Arkas (comics)/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

An Arkas (disambiguation) should be entered here because as also stated

in Pan_(mythology) Arkas is one of the sons of Zeus and twin of Pan.

Moreover this is my first post and I'm not sure if this is the way which things happen here :)

Goodmorning

CamelCase?[edit]

Arkas in Greek means Arcadian or someone from the province of Arcadia. However, the CamelCase style in which his name is written suggests that Arkas may be only his initials.

CamelCasing implies that there is a mix of upper and lower case letters in the name. This is not clear to a non-Greek reader. Should the Latin alphabet transliteration not reflect the capitalisation of the original? or is the claim wrong? Scarabocchio (talk) 22:27, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. There are seven entries listed upon the Arkas (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the three-sentence entry delineating the Greek artist is primary over the combined notability of the remaining six entries. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 07:03, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Where did "1958" come from?[edit]

I also see it on the Greek wikipedia with no source. Did someone add it in the past and stuck on popular culture? fs 08:39, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
