Lead image note[edit]

This image (or an earlier version of it) had a note attached that it was an experimantal version, unserialed, and featuring modification that were not standardised on later models. Since the picture clearly shows a serial number, and the modifiactions (more streamlined nose, small box radiators, and V undercarriage) were all part of the late production standard this is patent nonsense, so the note has been removed.--Soundofmusicals (talk) 11:45, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

According to Bruce Robertson's British Military Aircraft Serials B4200 was actually built from spare part and salvaged bits by No. 2 (Northern) Aircraft Repair Depot. MilborneOne (talk) 11:50, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
