Copyright concerns[edit]

On July 28th, this article was tagged for investigation as a copyright problem. Some of the material at that time did seem to duplicate exactly the Alabama State Legislature source, here. While Federal government sites are generally public domain, state governments sites usually are not. I can't find any indication at the Alabama site that Alabama is an exception. The material has been revised to separate it from the source. Sentences and "apt phrases" directly from the source should not be reintroduced unless it can be shown that Alabama releases information at its governmental websites into public domain. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:16, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
