Reproduction, Habitat[edit]

This article is lacking in important details about the reproductive and lifestyle habits of this species of beetle, such as how these beetles reproduce and what distinguishes males from females, where females lay their eggs, where and how the hatched larva develop, and whether the life cycle of the beetles is at the cost of other organisms such as trees, as is common with other beetle species. This article is off to a strong start. It has an incredibly descriptive summary of the beetle's physiology and their geographical range. It also holds a nice neutral tone throughout. An area that could be expanded upon is it's life cycle -- how long is each life cycle stage? what does the beetle look like at each stage? how does mating work? is there parental care involved? etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ardenpedraja (talkcontribs) 02:19, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I found this article to be very insightful! I made a few edits where I hyperlinked certain words to add greater depth to the piece and I rearranged two passages to make the article flow more easier.
