It would be nice to know which company was operating this tanker at the time of its accidents, or whether it was the Greek government directly operating it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.94.24 (talk) 12:50, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

MV???[edit]

What lubber renamed this MV Atlantic Empress? It's S.S. Atlantic Empress--she was steam turbine propelled, not a motor vessel.Chasrob (talk) 23:54, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clean-up? or Environmental Impact?[edit]

Considering that this is the largest oil spill from a tanker or tankers, it seems there should be something about it's environmental impact. Or did this occur far enough out from land that the seas disbursed the oil? Were any attempts made to clean up? Flight Risk (talk) 19:01, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
