Why was this page created?[edit]

This article was created on a lark. There was a debate on whether articles on the streets of Manhattan were acceptable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/79th_Street_(Manhattan) I was of the opinion that the article should be deleted. Yet the overwhelming consensus was to keep it which gave rise to the argument that this could be done for every other street in Delhi and the like. Please add to it. Since cricket matches happen here. Parking issues et al too can be mentioned here. ChiragPatnaik (talk) 05:53, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
