Prose/content -- hopefully my copyedit made sense, and level of detail seems fine for GA; just these two queries:
- So I'm clear, are the "subsequent events" you refer to in the first paragraph of Siege of Apamea and the Fatimid relief expedition what's described in the second paragraph of the section?
- The "subsequent events" refer to the operations prior to the battle and the battle itself.
- a plain surrounded by the mountain al-Mudiq and located near the Lake of Apamea reads a bit oddly to me -- for a mountain to "surround" a plain it'd have to be a circular mountain range, wouldn't it?
- I've rewritten that a bit. I don't know the exact geography of the place, and the description seems weird to me as well, but this is exactly what Canard writes. From Canard's comments, it may be the site where the later Qalaat al-Madiq was built, or some other flat hill in the vicinity (I'm guessing here based on Google Maps).
Structure -- logical, no issues.
Referencing -- fully cited and no significant formatting issues I could see.
