Reasons for keeping the page[edit]

Here I my reasons of keeping the page

  • first reason is based on my subjectivity, being a frequent user of byki, and find it very effective for me, I know I'm just one person and the effectiveness of the software must be studied with statistics studies and investigations and not only with one man's opinion. If the page doesn't reaches the criteria after my rewriting, before deleting the page I want the person to get a minimal contact with the software or with someone that uses it, or to put this page deletion on debate with other users.
  • few things are written about this software and the software deserves a page, for collecting technical informations about the software. I'm curios about what is behind the project. When did all started? Are there similar softwares? Is this a good learning-vocabulary software for a foreign language at a large scale as they claim and I also claim that works for me? On wikipedia there are articles about unimportant things and I don't believe that byki is unimportant. I wrote the first version of the article in a very advertising way but that is no reason for speedy deletion, just for deletion. I believe that the person that demanded the speedy deletion had not any contact with the software before proposing the speedy. The policy of speedy deletion on all wikipedias is quite strange for me, cause the easiest way to get rid of a bad article is to delete it not to propose for rewriting or to wait until the deletion.

Following your re-write, I've removed the speedy deletion tag. Empty Buffer (talk) 13:29, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, you wrote above: I wrote the first version of the article in a very advertising way but that is no reason for speedy deletion, just for deletion.Wikipedia policy on blatant spam that need a complete re-write is to flag it for speedy deletion: see Template:Advert and Template:Db-g11.
