I am removing the stub tag for now because there is nothing else to write. --TheGrandAmanin (talk) 12:48, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well this certainly isn't a Start-class article.

Ackar and Raanu[edit]

I'm wondering. I saw the video with Ackar and Raanu. (I'm making Ackar right now. Feel free to add) There were three characters that look like Raanu. How do you know either of them was Raanu? Mhera (talk) 17:52, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The one thatr says "He's a Glatorian, just a Glatorian.". 76.200.185.40 (talk) 02:41, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spoilers[edit]

Guys, keep the plot for the movie OFF this page! If you want another movie, we have to keep it off until around the 20th or 22nd!

As per the rules of BZPower (which is mainly run by members of the LEGO team) and BioSector 01 (a Bionicle wiki associated, I think, with BZPower) spoilers are not to be posted until September 29.--Twilight Helryx (talk) 18:56, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is neither BZPower nor BIONICLEsector01, therefore there is no reason to inhibit such content.
Still, BZPower is run mainly by members of the LEGO team. If they don't want spoilers out until then, then we should respect their wishes. Besides, September 29 isn't that far. By the way, next time you might want to sign your comments when you write on talk pages. You can do so by putting four tildes (~~~~) at the end.--Twilight Helryx (talk) 14:22, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
BZPower is not run by lego, some of its members are employees that's all.
Futhermore, I've never seen a wikpedia page on a released movie that didn't contain a synopsis 82.95.165.21 (talk) 09:13, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, my mistake; my deductive skills really need work >_>. But really, the 29th will be here in a few days and when it does we can stick the entire plot in. We can use this time to write out a good synopsis. Besides, consensus seems to show that most people would prefer not to see the spoilers though I could be wrong. By the 29th--when spoilers are allowed and about two weeks have passed from the time of release--they should know better than to come to this page.
In answer to your second comment, there is a plot synopsis in the article; it is just somewhat incomplete as it lacks one or two plot points. Trust me, I have seen much worse plot synopsis on released films. As a matter of fact, the one we have right now is already a good summary of what happens in the film; there just aren't any specific plot details inside. But if you really think that it is very insufficient and unfair (and, more importantly, if consensus agrees), go right ahead and stick the spoilers in.--Twilight Helryx (talk) 13:09, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not supposed to be spoiler-free; see WP:SPOILER. Articles should be comprehensive about the topic. Of course, use good judgment... you don't need to detail everything, but detail enough to get readers unfamiliar with the topic an idea of what goes on. Erik (talk | contribs | wt:film) 21:12, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am aware of this policy and personally, I think the current synopsis is already clear enough as to what the plot is about, so I don't think we're in any rush to add anything more until next Tuesday. However, if consensus says that people want those left out details put in, I will go ahead and add them (and I won't revert any of these kinds of edits should someone else have already done so).--Twilight Helryx (talk) 13:20, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, the key is to write a summary of what happens, not worrying about whether it spoils or not. Once you start thinking about what details spoil or not, it starts to distract from the purpose of a summary to complement the real-world context of the topic. Erik (talk | contribs | wt:film) 14:47, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All right, it's already past September 29. You can all let loose with the spoilers now. <3--Twilight Helryx (talk) 14:39, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gavla[edit]

The issue of whether there was a Matoran resembling Gavla in the movie is hotly contested. It seems that more than one person claims she's not. However, I disagree so here are my arguments:

  1. First off, I am aware that Gavla is not actually in there (nor are Photok, Tanma, and the others). I only said Gavla-like.
  2. The Matoran is very easily missed as his/her mask is only visible very briefly before it turns away (and the camera shifts). I had watched that scene quite a few times before I noticed that she (I'm assuming it's a she because the said Matoran is blue; Av-Matoran change their color to mimic other tribes and Ga-Matoran are all female) is wearing the same mask as Gavla: shape resembling a vampire bat's face, "fangs" on the mouth, and a pair of curved "ears" on the sides.
  3. Another reason that Matoran is easily missed is because only her mask and color matches Gavla while her feet are normal (rather than clawed like Gavla's) and she has no wings on her back. Plus, the Photok and Tanma like Matoran are standing in front of her and because they are more noticeable she is harder to focus on as the viewer's brain puts her in the background (Psychology 101 there).

I hope we can have a constructive discussion about this; I would really hate to have an edit war over this.--Twilight Helryx (talk) 17:40, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Production and Reception[edit]

So, has anyone found any info about these?--Twilight Helryx 03:15, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the Last Movie?[edit]

is it true they are cancilling the fith movie —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.3.10.240 (talk) 19:02, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Greg Farshtey had confirmed on BZPower that plans for the next two movies have been scrapped. *sigh* But if you really want to know what happens after the cliffhanger ending, check in on bioniclestory.com. That's where the main story's going to be from 2010 on. I am currently unable to source the info, but I know where to find it. Go to BZPower and click on the talkback for the news about Lego's announcement. Mr. Farshtey's statement should be somewhere in or around the third page. However, if you are adding the info here, please be sure to include the citation as anyone who hasn't seen the source would remove the info if it isn't sourced.

Oh, and, next time, please sign your comments. You can do so by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end. Thank you.--Twilight Helryx 19:50, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
