Regarding the edits from this version, which were reverted:

  1. I don't understand the change to the coordinates. The coordinates appear to be correct as they were/are now, centered in Bool - at least using Google Maps. Am I missing something?
  2. I have made other changes to the infobox proposed in that version, with a few added sources. Thanks for the 2010 population numbers and source. I did not change the correct postal and area code values - nor the correct display of the governance website, per discussion at Talk:Cogon, Tagbilaran.
  3. Aside from some capitalization issues for proper nouns and use of an em-dash when a hyphen was called for, see hypens and dashes, copy edits for the body of the article from that version were carried over... plus a bit more editing.

And, I have a general question, not specific to that version: Is there a source for the number of Purok/Sitio? The infobox says 7, but text in the body said 12. (I removed that sentence - it's not needed if it's in the infobox.)--CaroleHenson (talk) 08:30, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  1. WP:OPCOORD deprecates overprecision. For coordinates quoted to two decimal places of arcsecond, as here, that is to within 31 centimetres at the equator (here is 9 deg N). That is clearly absurd for a settlement, and I feel that one arcminute is plenty precise enough. (Incidentally, one of my grips with Maribojoc Church etc.)
  2. No idea where purok figures are officially shown. Some municipalities show them, but not Tagb.

The coordinate change, though, takes it outside of Bool and onto another island... let me see about changing the coordinate format.--CaroleHenson (talk) 08:55, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Argh! I just realize that I cannot use the {{Coord}} template in the settlement infobox. I posted a question at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Geographical coordinates#Coordinate precision about this... looking for a little direction regarding precision.--CaroleHenson (talk) 09:17, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
WP:DASH seems to say to use en dash not hyphen to join e.g. two towns. It doesn't actually say much about em dash at all. Unbuttered parsnip (talk) mytime= Thu 17:50, wikitime= 09:50, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
