Duplicated material[edit]

Working on another project that took me to the Gun laws in California article, where I noticed an existing "Bullet button" section, which was created with this edit [1] in January 2012. Lightbreather (talk) 17:20, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have an opinion as whether this should remain a separate article, or be subsumed into "Gun laws in California" (with a redirect pointing to that section)—I just would like the information to remain in Wikipedia.—DocWatson42 (talk) 05:20, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I condensed the other section and pointed to this one as the main article.--Mike - Μολὼν λαβέ 00:22, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Trademark Data Reference[edit]

I don't know if this counts as original research or if it is a good reference, but the USPTO Trademark information for the term "Bullet-Button" is at USPTO Registration of word mark "bullet button" Cmarkn (talk) 04:30, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Outlawed & now a purposeless device[edit]

Bullet buttons have been outlawed in California, this is only mentioned very briefly at the end of the article and should be afforded more weight and in the first couple sentences. The introduction explains the device was invented to circumvent the CA ban on assault rifles, and should now go on to explain that the device has been rendered moot by the new law (the only purpose of the bullet button was to circumvent California law and now it cannot do so). 64.134.238.250 (talk) 11:39, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I added a brief mention of the ban to the intro. Felsic2 (talk) 16:15, 23 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
