Insinuations of character names[edit]

The article insinuates that Bobby Quine is named after Quine (computing) and Jack after Jack (connector) by linking their last names to these articles, but provides no other background information and no citation. As such, I am reverting these names to plain text. Attys (talk) 14:31, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Sprawl[edit]

This article claims that this story is the first to be set in the Sprawl, but Johnny Mnemonic also takes place there and pre-dates this story. Maury Markowitz (talk) 22:15, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Even the very first short story, Fragments of a Hologram Rose is very likely set in the sprawl, at least the technology (Simstim/ASP) is the same. Indeed it gives some sort of backstory of the past 15 or so years, explaining how the sprawl-universe US came to be as it is. Accordingly I am going to alter the sentence.--Lommes (talk) 07:20, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
