CASTOR v Dry cask storage

Can we make this page a redirect to Dry cask storage? After all, CASTOR is simply a trademark for a specific storage system. Everything on the current CASTOR page is available there, and the German page de:Castor (Kerntechnik) does link there as well.

Page moved to CASTOR (nuclear waste). Consensus was clear about moving, the target was unclear. Most of the inbound links were for the CERN experiment, so this move seems the best solution at this time for a stub that could easily be deleted without a lot of cleanup. CASTOR → CAsk for Storage and Transport Of Radioactive material — "CASTOR" should redirect to the disambiguation page, there are several prominent uses of the initialism. • Oppose. I have two problems with this proposal. (1) It seems to me that this use of CASTOR is by far the most common. If that is true then there is no problem with it occupying this lemma. (2) Camel casing to emphasize the genesis of an acronym is inappropriate according to Wikipedia:MOSCAPS#Acronyms and initialisms. --EnOreg (talk) 12:39, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

The only other uses of the name CASTOR that the Castor disambiguation page lists are CERN advanced storage manager, for which not even an article exists, and a CASTOR experiment at CERN that seems rather obscure to a non-expert. Which of these do you think is more "prominent" than the cask for spent nuclear fuel? --EnOreg (talk) 12:46, 22 October 2011 (UTC)

This move was premature. There was obviously no consensus, yet. Your argument about the inbound links is compelling but you should have made it before the move. (I assume you compare the number of inbound links to this article with the number for the experiment?)

I moved the article on from the misspelled Castor (nuclear waste) to the correctly spelled CASTOR (nuclear waste). I'm still not entirely happy with the name as a CASTOR is actually the cask rather than the waste. Oh well. --EnOreg (talk) 13:32, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
