Economic theory[edit]

I've heard some years ago an economic theory with the short explanation "a cake with three levels with glass", where the cake is the world, the levels are various society's level, and the glass is the private society, that couldn't stay up without others levels. Programming pattern[edit]

There is a "cake pattern" in programming, mostly mentioned by Scala developers. It looks to be similar to the Service locator pattern and is also related to Dependency injection.
