Napoleon and Samantha

[edit]

A possibility good addition of cultural info would be that Canyon City was location central in the early 1970s for the filming of the Walt Disney feature “Napoleon and Samantha,” starring Michael Landon, Jodie Foster, Johnathan Whittaker, Will Geer, and other notables like the “Snoop Sisters” The county courthouse was featured, along with several other locations in and around Canyon City, John Day, and Dixie Mountain Northeast of Prairie City.
