No longer part of Gauteng?[edit]

After the abolition of cross-border municipalities, and the transfer of Merafong City Local Municipality to the North West, which includes Carletonville, the article probably needs to be moved to Carletonville, North West. 168.209.98.35 18:30, 25 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For completeness, it should be noted that the Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution transferred Merafong City back to Gauteng, so the proposed move would no longer be necessary - htonl (talk) 12:58, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
