Image[edit]

The image file source claims the image was created in 1922. I believe this date is wrong and am not entirely certain that it is an image of Sir Charles Frederick Higham. The composition and quality of the image, along with the hairstyle and clothing suggest to me that the image was created not much earlier than 1935. Graemp (talk) 19:03, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I looked into this since it was my upload. The source (LOC) identifies the subject as Higham, however this photo captioned Wm. H. Rankin & Sir Chas. Higham was taken at the same event, and comparing it to the photo accompanying his obituary in The Times I suspect the two men have been identified the wrong way round and Higham is the man on the left in the second photo. I agree with you that the two have been identified the wrong way round and that judging by the image in The Times, the man on the left is therefore Higham. I have sourced the Illustrated London News images published in 1921 and 1924 which also show an image of a man identical to the one on the left. On this evidence, I am prepared to accept that the creation date could in fact be 1922. Graemp (talk) 15:23, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
