A look at the Asian Diaspora through the works of Meiling Jin and Jan Lo Shinebourne. The books of these such as "The Song of the Boatwoman" and "The Last English Plantation." Finding contextual evidence of the struggle of traditional asian and Hawaiian culture being uprooted by western methodologies and practices through the article by Tao Goffe.
