It's cuatro not quatro. Someone please change it.

Does anyone else think the sex-ed characters were sort of a play on Schoolhouse Rock! ? They seemed to be drawn in that style, kinda.

According to the DVD commentary, they were based on a sex ed book called Where Did I Come From?. I haven't been able to dig up any info on the book, though.Raymondluxuryacht 22:41, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Falling down stairs[edit]

Is there an actual urban legend saying that falling down stairs can end pregnancy? - Sikon 16:33, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's possible, but I've never heard of one. It could have been something the writers made up.Raymondluxuryacht 17:07, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's an old wives' tale. But, in actuality, probably one that's possible - if falling down the stairs injures the mother, then it's presumably quite possible she could suffer a miscarriage. Cheers, DWaterson 21:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Octopussoir name[edit]

"Clara's vagina monster is named Octopussoir. This is a reference to Octopussy, a character from the James Bond franchise."

I'd have thought that it's not just that, but also a double entendre on the word "pussy" as a sexual slang term for the vagina. It might be worth noting this. Cheers, DWaterson 21:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it is, but so is the original name "Octopussy". Drawn Together was just playing on the double entendre already inherent in the name itself.Raymondluxuryacht 01:10, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reference to Shrek[edit]

The fact that after "true love" is found, Clara is not "cured", but we are left with two monsters instead, reminds me of the movie Shrek where princess Fiona is transformed into an ogre permanently. Could this be a reference? Dngrs 14:46, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not directly. Both Shrek and this episode are parodies of Beauty and the Beast. The two works are each referring to a third source; one is not a reference to the other.Raymondluxuryacht 15:50, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
