Mutant or not?[edit]

The article claims that Cloud 9 is a mutant and then goes on to say that the origin of her powers is unknown. I doubt that she is a mutant because of the House of M event, she would probably be a member of The 198 if she was. Can anyone find reference to her being a mutant? Well I finished . Ones that were unknown at the time of M-Day would tend to remain unknown afterward. 71.203.209.0 21:15, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm aware that there are more than 198 mutants left, and also that Decimation didn't really affect mutants outside of the X-men series. All I meant was, if she was a mutant there would be a greater chance that she would be with the X-men rather than the Initiative. But it still stands that Cloud 9 hasn't been confirmed as a mutant, so while she may very well be a mutant there is no source to cite. If she is revealed as a mutant I'll be happy to do the edit to add that fact, but until then it's just somebodies guess which is not what wikipedia is about. MrDenton 01:02, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the same token, there is no support for the category "Mutate". Unknown is unknown. Rosencomet (talk) 19:48, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Cloud 9.jpg[edit]

Image:Cloud 9.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
