Fall 2017?[edit]

Is Fall 2017 still accurate for the release date? Cartoon Network seems to have already started promoting it, at least on its YouTube channel. Alphius (talk) 23:10, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The premise of the series[edit]

You know, I don't think that the premise of the show in this article is accurate. According to the clips from the show that we've recently got, it doesn't seem to be a prequel to the films, and it doesn't take place in a school. Not to mention that the characters aren't even younger, they're still the same age as they are in the films. It seems more like it's picking up where the films left off or something like that. The series is set sometime between 1 and 10 years prior to the first film, as Flint's mother had been dead for 10 years by the time of the first movie, and she's absent from the series (and spoken of in the past tense), and there's been at least one reference to Flint and Sam having been schoolmates for at least one year (the interval between science fairs). Also, there has been at least one idyllic reference to the future "large food" malfunction of the FLDSMDFR, as well as early blueprints or drawings of it. Furthermore, the rat birds and Steve's thought translator make multiple appearances, and the "remote control" TV shows up here and there, too. Age of Flint or Sam[edit]

Aside from both being in high school (probably meaning they are teens) does anyone recall any mention of specifically how old either is? Trying to figure out how many years before main storyline of first film this takes place. ScratchMarshall (talk) 21:22, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
