Need additional sources

Current sources need to be improved. One way is to have the footnote point to an actual page. Also there needs to be additional footnotes for facts in your article. I can see 3 areas that need footnotes and there maybe more. Thank you Magnum Serpentine (talk) 00:32, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Copyright violation problems

The facility information had to be removed because it was a direct copy of information here on their website, in violation of WP:COPYVIO. I've retained the list of major facilities: if someone familiar with the school wants to write original descriptions of the buildings, please feel free to. I will add an infobox, logo and other info to at least keep the article looking respectable. --Bobak 23:07, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Homophobic

That Job Quote

90 percent of graduates were offered a job eh? Well, when I graduated from there in the 1990's I had made very good grades, yet no one offered me a job. When I applied to local areas (I.E. Locations less than a mile from there) I was asked, College of the what? Seems someone forgot to tell the business community they were suppose to accept people from this college. I dispute the 90% statement. No one approached me offering me a job while I was attending C of O or after I graduated. Request for sources

First, on the 90% quote, could the author provide the sources for this. Also could the author provide a breakdown of the 90 percent quoat. A suggestion for the breakdown would be: Number of graduates who went onto work in their major, number of graduates who went into the general work force and not working in their major, finally, number of graduates who went onto a Masters or Doctorate work.

History Section

Criticism section

There were some criticisms that had been added to the timeline but it is not balanced and there is no context and there is no indication of impact. I moved them to a criticisms section since they don't seem big enough to warrant the timeline history. My instinct is that unless they are expanded, they should be nuked. I also removed the speakers info since it was out of date.Americasroof (talk) 18:23, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Currently, there's a sentence in the criticism and controversy section that reads Homosexual behavior, along with premarital, extramarital, and the consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited by the university's student handbook. It seems to be missing a noun (at least). Also, my personal opinion is that it's not a very legitimate criticism: the College of the Ozarks is a small, private institution, serving a religious minority. LGBTQ comments

Does the current wording about LGBTQ policies (statements calling them bigoted, and comparing them to white supremacists and slaveholders) conform to a neutral point of view? Is it WP:UNDUE, coatracking? The tone seems very angry. Jacona (talk) 16:11, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

List of speakers with no context or apparent purpose

An unregistered editor is insisting that this article include these two sentences in a separate "Visitors" section:

Well known speakers who have visited the college include former United States presidents George H. W. Bush, Gerald Ford, George W. Bush; former Vice President Mike Pence, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and the former United States secretary of housing and development Dr. Ben Carson. Other visitors include Louis Zamperini, Tim Tebow, Dave Ramsey, and more.[1]

I previously removed this section as it's simply not interesting or even informative to tell readers that this college has had speakers on campus without any unique or additional context. This is as useful and information as a section blandly labeled "Classes" with two sentences listing some classes that are taught at the college without any context or explanation.
