Erm. That opening is a bit POV.

Tell me about it; aren't these the people who want us to all work 60 hours a week for £2:50 an hour? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.90.232.145 (talk) 11:24, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In a word, no. Talk about pov. CBI supports the minimum wage and a cap on non-voluntary working hours of 48 hours a week.

aye and that wouldnt leave any time for wikipedia editing —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.105.213.11 (talk) 12:43, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've emphasised "from the perspective of their leadership" & removed POV tag Tommy Pinball (talk) 20:03, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So how about we concentrate on having an article that is as objective as possible, but add in a Criticism/Controversy section? I think there are plenty of reputable sources out there that could be referenced for a balanced article?Kurt O'Sys (talk) 13:28, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Given the CBI has somewhat strayed from its business remit & wandered into political activity requiring its registratio with the electoral commission, it might be a nice idea to not delete anything showing these evens, especially given the number of Scottish companies, including STV, who either chose to be politically impartial, or are prevented in taking sides in politics (such as aforementioned STV) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Transnistria (talkcontribs) 16:42, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Link http://www.cbi.org.uk/campaigns/industrial-policy/ used as citation is no longer valid, can't find a cached copy on Wayback to decide whether http://www.cbi.org.uk/campaigns/industrial-strategy/ is a suitable replacement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Druidpld (talkcontribs) 09:45, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Citations[edit]

The first paragraph is mostly opinion the article supported by artciles which are over 40 years old, behind a paywall, don't support teh statement or from the organisations's own site. Suggest the first para is reworked or deleted and valid citations found for the rest of the aticle. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Druidpld (talkcontribs) 19:16, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
