Article title[edit]

The article title uses an apostrophe, but the article text does not. Which is correct? Since the mission is always referred to with the definite article (the), my guess would be that it should be Cripps mission, not Cripps' mission, just like we would talk about the Churchill mission (if there was one), not the Churchill's mission—especially since Cripps' is, strictly speaking, incorrect English (the possessive of Cripps in English is Cripps's, unless we're discussing more than one Cripp), though it's a common enough mistake, and may already have been common in the 1940s for all I know, that that on its own wouldn't convince me which name is correct.
