The article states that Carr is a pacifist, something which he himself emphatically denies: "Though I am a Quaker, like many Quakers I am not a pacifist. Contested deletion[edit]

while that may be true at the time it was nominated it gave no indication why he might be considered notable. As the creator of the article the onus is on you to provide that when initially writing it, no matter how brief the article is. Moving the page / rename[edit]

I would argue (or at least it is possible) that the more well-known David Carr with "M" as a middle initial is David Michael Carr, NY Times journalist. I propose that we rename this page "David M.
