No consensus for this list[edit]

Don't like this change, the presenters and experts belong on the main Daybreak page. Hiving off to a sub-page without consensus was a bad move. Put the team back on the main page and consult next time.

Vandal alert[edit]

A vandal has been hard at work adding unsourced false information and disrupting consensual edits. It has also been at work on the main page. All false information and unwanted edits will be removed asap. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.179.165.29 (talk) 09:14, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No need to record the list of presenters for each day[edit]

There is no reason at all why a table recording each day's presenters is necessary; it adds little information and is of little value while making the page much longer and much less readable. I suggest that it should be deleted ASAP. The information above the table clearly explains who the current team is and who has stood in for them in the past; the information below the table clearly explains the table for past presenters, as well as the start and end dates of their tenures. That is all a reader/viewer is interested in seeing.

If more detail is desired, one could list e.g. when each current presenter started their tenure, who stood in for whom and for how long (in terms of number of days/weeks rather than episodes). That would add detail to some lines but in doing so means the "stand-in" presenters don't have to be listed below the regulars. In short, the most detail for each presenter could look like:

Joe Bloggs (2012 - ) [stood in for by Jane Doe (December 2012, for two weeks), Don Brown (April 2013, 3 days)]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.95.111.252 (talk) 05:53, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eamonn Holmes and Ben Shepard replacing Aled Jones?[edit]

I have heard this rumour alot lately, but didnt edit it into this article. I'm wonderig if whoever did can provide a credible source. I know Eamonn's contract is up in 2014 with Sky, but I cannot find any credible evidence that he is joining Daybreak. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnicoll123 (talkcontribs) 17:41, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
