Article title[edit]

Although his full name was of course "George De Lacy Evans", he was known during his lifetime by his second name, including the particule, which admittedly looks rather odd. See contemporary sources Hansard, The Vote of Thanks to Sir De Lacy Evans, 1855, and an example from The Spectator, 1854. Opera hat (talk) 00:39, 13 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
