I think the article is informative and subtly written. The subject itself - a fictional philosopher - is as convoluted as one might expect from the inimitable Flann O'Brien, so that may be why the article seems to embrace a certain incoherence. There was an irish/french physicist, Edmund Edward Fournier d’Albe (1868–1933), who did research on astrophysics and cosmology and also wrote popular books. He may have been the model for De Selby. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.57.178.94 (talk) 08:14, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Isn’t the main point of de Selby that in the dimensions in which we live his ideas are uniformly potty? They may of course make sense in other dimensions. As he is quite mad, what does that make his commentators? --Hors-la-loi (talk) 15:33, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
