In my opinion, this article does not meet the notability standard for Wikipedia. While Mr. Hickson's death was certainly tragic, he was one of many people who died from Covid-19--nearly 200,000 in the US alone as of this writing. While his case received some news coverage, it does not have enduring historical significance or widespread national or international impact, and Mr. Hickson himself would not meet the notability standard for biography. Many people have disputes with hospitals and doctors over a patient's care, but they do not merit individual Wikipedia pages. This article reads more like a current news story or a memorial than an encyclopedic entry. I see no point in discussing the merits of the article, but I would urge its deletion on grounds of notability. Amost42n81 (talk) 00:31, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the notability tag as this event still continues to receive news coverage a year later and has also resulted in proposed legislation named for Mr. Hickson. --Fishermansworf (talk) 22:45, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
