Clinical trial[edit]

The following text

"A randomized clinical trial of Merzel's Big Mind method showed statistically significant differences between the treatment and control groups for all parameters measured,[1] though Johnson notes that the reported effects may also result from factors such as group effect, suggestibility, and/or simple expectation,[2] and that the study may have limited generalizability due to the high level of education of the participants.[2][note 1]"

was appended:

"A randomized clinical trial of Merzel's Big Mind method demonstrated significant positive results and stated, "That [since] such profound effects can be induced in a short time period implies the potential for enormous benefit for not only the spiritual development of individuals in general but most important for clinical populations where prolonged meditation-based interventions may not be practical. The patient groups most likely to obtain the greatest benefit are those suffering with end-of-life issues where time and energy level are reduced and spiritual insight rather than mere psychological well-being is considered a priority." This study showed statistically significant differences between the treatment and control groups for all parameters measured.[1] However, Johnson notes that the reported effects may also result from factors such as group effect, suggestibility, and/or simple expectation,[2] and that the study may have limited generalizability due to the high level of education of the participants.[2][note 2]"

The "randomized clinical trial" doesn't meet teh standards of proper scientific analysis. The way this "trial" is quoted here is suggestive and unacceptable. Flash, I suggest you simply stop editing Wikipedia, since your only objective is to promote Merzel and his Big Mind Process. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 12:39, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attacks aside, would you mind walking me through how it does not meet the standards of proper scientific analysis? Thanks FlashClairvoyance (talk) 13:05, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Read the article on Big Mind Process, where it is clearly explained what's wrong with this "trial". My suggestion is not a personal attack, it's simply a conclusion based on your edits: you're a WP:SPA, whose contributions don't conform to Wiki-standards. I've merged Big Mind Process into this article; too little substance; probably a mere promotional spin-off. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 03:36, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
