Ever notice...
[edit]Ever notice at near the end of the film when Denzel and Kinney exchange appreciations for return of the character's (Todd Carter's) trollop? It's seems somewhat eerie; maybe it was the cimematographer's (Tak Fugimato)or make-up ppls. creative iniative but in that very scene I swear that both Denzel Washington and Terry resembled each other so much as to be closely related! The eyes, the devot-shape of the mouth; I keep sayng to myself "amazing"(!) imagining that this was deliberate by the director Carl Franklin to perhaps demostrate some kind of "kinship" or symbiosis of honesty between the two, as they were the only sicere characters in the movie. Also, I think Mr. Terry Kinney missed his calling as a noir charcter actor in that he made a good affected impression in his period suit and hat in the same scene, The scene where Washington and Cheadle stand silloetted above the weezing, dying Seizemore was also impressive as it stayed true to the noir atmosphere (I think tI remember there was one paperback issue where this scene was used as the cover. Though it was reported that the film didn't do well in the US, there should be another film made about Easy Rollins; a different iteration that does not neccessarily follow the book series cannon, and with some other actor than Denzel. Mind you, luv the man and his work. 67.87.177.215 (talk) 15:54, 28 March 2011 (UTC)Veryverser
