Was he poisoned?[edit]

I found various unreliable websites that claimed with no support that his death was probably due to poison, but nothing about this in the better sources... not that I consulted that many, as most just mentioned him in passing. I left that out of the article, but it'd be interesting if this could be added along with which reputable historian thinks this happened and why. (Unless this is something made up on the Internet that spread around, a la citogenesis.) SnowFire (talk) 08:09, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
