William Henry Redmond... was indicted in 1988 for the 1951 Pennsylvania murder of ten-year-old Jane Marie Althoff. But then ...however Potts would have been considerably older than his previous victims.

Here is a link to the local news story concerning a very recent break in the case. 64 years later, a possible break in the disappearance of Beverly Potts. I am not enough familiar with the events to start adding new details, so I place this here for those who may be. This article also mentions a book and a film about the case. I grew up a few miles from where Beverly disappeared, and this case comes up regularly among the locals. Since the latest local paper article really didn't have much in it, I was waiting to see if anything developed before adding it to the article. The book is already referenced in the article (footnote 1 and Further Reading) as it is the most complete account of the case that's generally available. Haven't watched the documentary yet since it's only available on DVD which you have to buy through the mail rather than any readily available streaming form, and at only 53 minutes in length, I sort of doubt it adds any new information that wasn't included in Badal's book.
