Will add photos, and more if the article is not deleted.--DragonFly31 01:17, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see any reason why it would be, so go ahead (as long as the photos aren't copyrighted). - ulayiti (talk) 05:52, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Will add non-copyrighted photos, or photos copyrighted but with consent, and links ASAP.--DragonFly31 08:00, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't like the tone and content of the 'politics' section that keeps being added by some mysterious person keen on imposing a favourable viewpoint on Sarkozy. I've consequently made a few changes; it is even worth wondering if this politics section really is necessary--DragonFly31

Politics[edit]

The article states "The support Doc gives to Sarkozy is the more surprising since his lifestyle seems to be in direct contradiction with the politician's ideas." What in particular about this person's lifestyle is in direct contradiction with Sarkozy's ideals? If this artist's support is surprising then this is important information.

Thank you, Rjan

The artist's support can be considered in direct contradiction to the politician's ideas because of his drugs lifestyle, alledged 'sell out' in his terrible last album (musically - sales were awful, and he was dropped from his label), and his general history of malevolant behaviour. Furthermore, he comes from poor parisian suburbs, where Sarkozy is a figure reviled, due partly to some of his comments, both about immigrants and the suburbs in question.

This exaplains why Doc was booed off the stage in Geneva.--DragonFly31 13:15, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • If, and this is a big if, the artist has come out and made a political endorsement it is certainly noteworthy. But, I think we need to find sources for this or cull it. Rotovia (talk) 23:13, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On Women[edit]

  • Because a comment like "demeaning ... women" is potentially defamatory, it needs to either be proven or removed. I will tag it for a citation, and if no-one can find one, I'll remove the the line. Rotovia (talk) 23:17, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
