Untitled[edit]

Eagle's Nest is in Adolf Hitler's hometown. During the end of the World War II in the Europeon Theater, allied forces were moving towards Eagle's Nest to see if they could capture any more nazis and loot Hitler's mansion and other Nazi leaders' homes. Easy Company, 2nd battalion of the 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne got there first and there was massive stockpiles of alcohol, nazi soveniers, cash, and jewlery to be found by them.

The Colbert Report[edit]

What about adding a note about the television show The Colbert Report? Host Stephen Colbert refers to the set as the Eagle's Nest. It's probably not relevant under "History," but perhaps a new "Entertainment" heading could be created. MeredithParmer 05:16, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
