Birthplace[edit]

There are conflicts about where he was born. The notes the the cpo series say Riga, but most dictionaries (and the Erdmann site at www.erdmann.jpsa.de) say Wenden; the Everyman Dictionary of Music ed. Eric Blom (London, 1971) says 'Tseziz, Latvia'. Does anyone know if Tseziz and Wenden are the same place? I presume the idea he was born in Riga arose because he studied there. Yes, Wenden and Tseziz (although, I haven't heard that somebody calls Cēsis Tseziz) is the same. --Edgars2007 (talk/contribs) 11:23, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
