Elizabeth vs Elisabeth[edit]

The translation of the Hungarian and Polish form is Elizabeth with the Z. The Elisabeth form is only German and French. Should we move this to Elizabeth of Hungary (1128–1154)?--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 17:43, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Early Marriages[edit]

I believe some of the European kings and queens in the 1500s and 1600s occasionally married quite young for political/dynastic reasons, and then simply waited for the children to grow up/come of age before the marriage would truly begin. However, since I am not an expert in this area, I don't have any examples to point to, nor sources. If anyone does, I think this argues strongly for the first described parentage.
