Feedback from New Page Review process[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Nice job on the article. You might want to consider moving the notable performers section to after the memorable engagements, and convert it to list form.

Just a few explanations and observations from my changes;

  • It's not necessary to attribute facts to people, unless they're disputed. A simple cite to the reliable source that verifies it suffices.
  • Opinions are a different matter. If the article is offering an opinion, it should be attributed. Even things like calling it "popular" and "swanky" is an opinion.
  • Leads should focus on hard facts. Opinions can come later.
  • There was too much direct quoting of the sources and people. Summarise things in your own words, unless there is something particular about the way it was said that should be reflected.
  • The stuff about Segal outside of his ownership of the casino doesn't belong here. If he is notable in himself, maybe an article devoted to him would be better for this.
  • I removed some tangents about Detroit and the Brentwood Recovery Home. This article is not the place for discussing them.
  • "curly" quotes should not be used.
  • Italics have a particular use in Wikipedia.
