Lawsuits?[edit]

Both the books and TV series seem to be blatant rip-offs of Anne of Green Gables. As such, have they ever been sued ? StuRat (talk) 13:42, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since L. M. Montgomery wrote both "Emily" and "Anne," she would have had to sue herself. Altgeld (talk) 13:54, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think StuRat means being sued by readers/watchers of Emily of New Moon (it's a rip-off to fans, so they get mad). --Letsy2Talk 19:14, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number of seasons[edit]

The first paragraph of this article says that there were four seasons for this show, but it was aired from 1998 to 2000. How did four seasons fit into two years? Altgeld (talk) 13:57, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

tone and content[edit]

There is no discussion of the series' approach to the material. For a program supposedly aimed at children, it is a surprisingly adult in tone and content. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 13:30, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
