Mantle Fielding’s Dictionary of American Painters, Sculptors & Engravers, agrees with 1870, so us book people like it. As we all know, and as wikipedians we need to be always aware of, one little typo on the internet can go a long, long way. Carptrash 01:55, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
